Successful event season 2022 for Helgstrand Event – More next year
Helgstrand Event is a premium outdoor showground located right across the street from Helgstrand Dressage in the beautiful area of North Jutland, Denmark. Over the past months the organization has hosted five fantastic shows welcoming both professional national and international jumping and dressage riders as well as many ambitious amateur riders.
From May to August 2022 Helgstrand Event welcomed over 850 horses and 570 riders. Spectators enjoyed watching over 1.900 starts and shopped at more than 25 exhibitors. Additionally they got the chance to see 3 stallion presentations, a foal auction and a foal inspection.
Brining world-class show jumping to Aalborg
The 2022 season started good with France winning the Longines EEF Series Aalborg presented by Radisson (Region North) in May 2022. It took a jump-off to declare the winner where France, Japan and Denmark battled for the first prize. Besides the Nations cup, visitors enjoyed two star international jumping and the young U-25 riders - that weekend. The best of Danish Dressage
In June Helgstrand Event hosted the Danish National Dressage Championships for senior, U-25 and para dressage - for the 4th year in a row. Dressage enthusiasts enjoyed a 4 day long program with Danish Championships, a stallion presentation, a foal auction and national classes. Cathrine Laurdrup-Dufour marked her position as number one in the saddle of Vamos Amigos who later this year won team gold, and two individual silver medals at the FEI World Championships in Herning. "I love coming back to Helgstrand Event every year! The boxes are amazing, really good for the horses, and the arena with the atmosphere is fantastic. Vamos Amigos felt really happy out here. The organization is really helpful and they always offer great services." Thus Cathrine about her experience at the showground.
Something very different
After a successful weekend of national show jumping during the Walber Cup qualifications, we prepared ourselves to welcome some very special horses in August. More than 100 Friesians from Denmark, Sweden and the Netherlands travelled to Helgstrand Event for an amazing weekend filled with sport, breeding activities and a fantastic atmosphere.
