Great performances and great atmosphere

maj 21. 2022

It was a great day with many top performances and feeling the atmosphere caused by the high number of spectators was amazing. It’s Saturday, and the level of competition has jumped up to 150 cm in the 3-star big tour presented by Beerbaum.

In the first class of today, the FreeJumps CSI2* Small Tour 130 cm, Danish Mette Askham Jensen on the 14-year-old Destany by Landjonker/Cassini II took the lead after a nice and not least fast performance in the time 58.54 seconds. Mette, who has had Destany for 1,5 years, was very happy with the ride today, where she managed to keep quite a distance to the second place:

- Destany is just a lovely horse, she is careful but at the same time very brave. And that's a great combination. The course suited her perfectly and it has been a great experience here in Uggerhalne, says Mette Askham Jensen.

Austrian Benjamin Saurugg on the 8-year-old Chique PS Z (Crowntano Z/Quidam de Revel) took second place in 62.50, while another Danish girl, Katrine Krog Stigsen on the 14-year-old Casandra by Casir ASK/A'khan Z, placed 3rd.

Necmi Eren wins DK Company CSIU25 Grand Prix over the Danes

The young riders all rode fast in today's DK Company CSIU25 Grand Prix, most likely because of the possibility to qualify for the European Youngster Cup U25 World Final 2022 through the class. The class comprised 24 riders, and three riders moved on to the jump-off with no penalties. Here, Turkish Necmi Eren and S I E C Nectar des Roches were fastest in a time of 39.29 seconds with zero penalties. Danish Michelle Lassen and Zocker 19 also rode with zero penalties, but a little slower in the time of 41.32 seconds, while Danish Josefine Sandgaard Mørup and Riddle Quiz got eight penalties in the time of 41.58 seconds.
