The sun was shining in Uggerhalne on the last day of the Longines EEF Series Aalborg. It has been 5 days of beautiful riding with top riders visiting us all the way from Norway to Japan. We finished on top with 145-150 cm jumping classes and we enjoyed it very much.
Course builder Peter Schumacher summarizes the show:
- It has been a really nice week. I enjoyed building the courses with my two colleagues, Christian and Rasmus. I only got positive feedback from the riders. I’m really happy about it. The results of the week were great in terms of clears – not too many and we have enough clears. So, it looked like the courses were perfectly built. I really liked visiting Uggerhalne.
The FREEJUMP CSIO3* Medium Tour 145 cm was the first class of the day, with many nations represented. However, Kasper H. Hansen took the home win on the only 8-year-old Danish Warmblood, Zero K by Kannan/Robin Z in 61,24 seconds with a nice lead to second place. As runner-up, we have Norwegian Mira Oliva Høidal on the 10-year-old Bronx by Bravour/Cardento in 63.0 seconds, and Danish Rikke Andersen rode into third place on the 10-year-old Chaccossini by Chacco-Blue/Cassini II in 64.85 seconds.

- Diaz is an unbelievable little machine. I had her since she was 6, and she has been winning and winning. And for her age, I think she has done an amazing job. It was a nice course obviously for me. Very safe and fair for all the horses. It was my second time here and with some good results again, so I’m sure I’m going to be back.
