Fantastic start to Longines EEF Series Aalborg

We have been looking forward to welcoming equestrians, spectators and exhibitors to the first show of the year at Helgstrand Academy, the international show jumping event Longines EEF Series Aalborg, organised by Helgstrand Event. After a successful vet check this morning, the first rider entered the show arena, and what a great start to the season. The stage is set for another fantastic event at the beautiful facilities Helgstrand Academy, close to Aalborg.

 

Pure girl power in CSI2* Small Tour

The CSI2* small tour was heavily dominated by the females, and it was almost exclusively women who finished at top of the leaderboard. It was Anna-Mathilde Alsing Nielsen onboard Cocio Blue Højvang who led the large field of 71 combinations to win the class in 29.53 sec, strongly followed by Kamilla Ladefoged Rasmussen on My Boy (Mylord Carthago/Sandro Boy), who secured a clear 30.82 sec. In 3rd place we have Olivia Munkberg on the 13-year-old Carrelo ST (Caretino/Carolus I) in the time 30.92 sec.

Arthur with Eldorado Semilly supreme winner of CSIU25 135 cm

The evening was dedicated to the CSIU25 135 cm, and Arthur Le Vot fro France took the lead in 61.95 seconds on the 8-year-old stallion, Eldorado Semilly (Numero Uno/Diamant de Semilly. Anne Kristine Truelsen took second place in 66.03 with Cosma Shiva S by Cornet's Stern/Achill-Libero, while Astrid Svenstrup took third place with Bonaparte Z (Balou du Rouet / Lux Z) in 68.73.

Announcement of the starting order for Friday's Nations Cup

Can the Danish team, which in 2021 consisted of Konstantin Deeken Künnemann, Emil Hallundbæk, Zascha Nygaard Andreasen and Andreas Schou with national trainer Bo K. Møller repeat last year's success taking another victory in Aalborg? We'll find out on Friday, when the Nations Cup team competition gets underway. And now the starting order has been set:
