An amazing Longines EEF Series Nations Cup show in Uggerhalne is over, and today Swedish Rolf-Göran Bengtsson won the 155 cm Grand Prix, making a beautiful end at this week's show.
Five days of the show at Helgstrand Event is over and the organizers are super happy about the support from all., and of course, the great sport the riders managed to deliver.
“It’s been a good week with great sport, and of course with the Longines EEF Series Nations Cup as the highlight. We are really happy with the great support from the riders, their teams, the audience, the volunteers and of course all the sponsors making the show a reality”, says Martin Thorbøll Pedersen, Head of Event and Partnership at Helgstrand Event.
Today the Radisson Blu Grand Prix was the highlight. 48 competitors entered the arena and five managed to ride the 155 cm course without faults. In the jump-off, Swedens Rolf-Göran Bengtsson secured the victory with the amazing grey Zuccero.
“I am really really happy to win the Grand Prix here, again, it is the second time for me”, said Rolf-Göran Bengtsson after his victory and continued:
“I like to be here. The Helgstrand team made a fantastic show and everything is well organized. We have good facilities, and it is nice to come here.”
Runner up in the Grand Prix was Therese Soehol Henriksen from Norway. This competitive rider had an amazing show in Uggerhalne, securing a lot of top placements throughout the show. In the Grand Prix she was riding the 11-year-old Santos Z.
In third place in the Radisson Blu Grand Prix 2023, it was Dutch Eric Ten Cate with the athletic gelding Incredible.
